Village Hall News

There are TWO NEW PROJECTS underway at the Village Hall:

  • A Historical Archive and Exhibition will be created over the next three years.
  • As part of this, a Time Capsule will be created which will give a 12 month snapshot of life in East Boldre from 1 January to 31 December 2011.

Parish Council Section - Planning

Planning Applications

East Boldre and East End are in a Conservation Area within the New Forest National Park. Consequently properties in our area are subject to tighter planning regulations than properties in other locations.

If you are planning to make some improvements or alterations to your home or outbuildings, or you want to work on mature trees, hedges and fences, you might need planning permission. You might also need planning permission to erect a satellite dish.

The New Forest National Park Authority (NFNPA) is responsible for all planning applications in our area.

The Parish Council have the opportunity to review all planning applications that affect the East Boldre area. Their comments are added to those applications being considered by New Forest National Park Authority.

Visit the NFNPA Planning Department to view all current planning applications. You can search for plans by address or by the planning application number which can be found in the Minutes of the Parish Council Meetings.
