Parish and town councils in England are the first tier of local government. They are a statutory body that has a large range of powers and duties. |

Councillors have three main components to their work: Decision Making, Monitoring and Getting Involved Locally. |

Parish Council meetings normally take place on the second Tuesday of every other month in East Boldre Village Hall. They start at 7:30 p.m. Members of the public are encouraged to attend. The District and County Councillors for East Boldre often attend Parish Council Meetings providing an opportunity for you to meet your councillors. |
