EAST BOLDRE FOOTBALL CLUB
Last season was a promising one for the club as we achieved promotion through finishing second in Junior Division 6 with 36 points from a possible 54.
In the Hampshire F.A. Junior B Cup we made an early exit losing 4 -
In the Southampton F.A. Junior B Cup we reached the quarter final stage but were
beaten 4 -
In the Roy Wightman Junior League Cup we reached the second round where we met Southampton
Energy who were 3 divisions higher but with the score at 2 -
Our exit from this competition took us into the Ron Valiance Vase where we reached
the final but a very poor performance brought a 4 -
On the plus side, thanks are due to Kevin Foot for the hard work in team management and who takes over as Chairman, thanks also to our club secretary Matt Parfect and his wife Nancy, who get through a tremendous amount of paper work for the clubs benefit and the treasurer, Sky Seaman who keeps our accounts in excellent order.
Looking ahead to next season we have played 3 pre-
When our next report comes out hopefully we will have more good results.
Lastly, I am now the Press Secretary and will be promoting our club as much as possible
and, after looking after the ground management on my own for 33 years, I have now
been made up to Head Groundsman and am now looking for an assistant to help me with
preparing the pitch on home match days. This would be from 9.30 a.m. -
